Welcome to The Gremlins Museum
The largest collection of original gremlins movie props in the world
The Gremlins Museum is an independent archive dedicated to preserving the artistry, innovation, and practical effects legacy of Gremlins (1984) and Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990). Our collection brings together original screen-used puppets, production materials, and behind-the-scenes artifacts that document how these films were physically created—by hand, through ingenuity, experimentation, and collaboration.
Each object in the archive is treated as a primary historical record, carefully documented for provenance, material construction, and on-screen use. From foam-latex puppets and animatronic components to continuity binders, sketches, and rare photography, the museum exists to provide context—connecting craftsmanship to storytelling, and technical process to cultural impact.
Preservation is central to our mission. Many of these artifacts were never intended to survive beyond production, and time has made their conservation increasingly urgent. By stabilizing, researching, and sharing this material, the Gremlins Museum ensures that the creative legacy of the artists who brought these creatures to life remains accessible to fans, researchers, and future filmmakers.
