Introduction
With Gremlins 2 director Joe Dante being a huge fan of Looney Tunes, he was able to convince creator Chuck Jones to come out of retirement and direct a bit of a cartoon intro for the movie. The sequence was originally longer, but was cut down in size for the theatrical version. The longer version of the intro is viewable in the DVD extras for the movie. Nine sketches in this collection done by Chuck himself, helped lay out what was to become the final animation which are surprisingly close to the version that appears on screen.
