Pre-Restoration - October 2020
As fun as these arms already were, they needed considerable work to both preserve the integrity of the exposed foam as well as fill in the many spots with damaged paint. We also needed a way to properly display them, as laying them on a platform could further damage the fragile foam.
Tom Spina Designs Restoration - January 2021
Tom Spina Design's incredible crew who has previously worked on our 1984 Screen Used Gremlin completed the work in January 2021 with beautiful results. All the damaged paint was carefully filled in and then was sealed to prevent further deterioration. Finally the ends of the arms were connected to a piece of metal attached to a display board for a beautiful presentation.
